Pedros Yacht Refinishing is a family run business, based at Dartside Quay at Galmpton within easy reach of all of the South West’s main boating centres.

An approved Awlgrip application centre and Blakes osmosis centre, Pedros employs highly qualified and experienced staff able to take on a job of any magnitude on any size of vessel whether its fibreglass boat repairs, or wooden boat repairs, a transom repair, a hull repair or a deck repair.

A full range of facilities is available, including a temperature controlled undercover application centre and lifting facilities and our accomplished staff are able to carry out any type of work on any type of craft from a gelcoat repair to an interior repair, from fibreglass to wooden boats, from refits, osmosis work and resprays to structural and cosmetic repairs and varnish work.

Pedros Yacht Refinishing is able to carry out insurance repairs as well as private work - over the years motorboat repairs and yacht repairs have been carried out to boats which have sunk, caught fire, run aground and running repairs to gelcoats, hull repairs and deck repairs have even been carried out during regatta time.

Whether it’s a small gel chip or scratch or other cosmetic work or a major insurance structural yacht repair, Pedros Yacht Refinishing has the expertise with all fibreglass boat refinishing or wooden boat work carried out to the highest possible standards.

Pedros Yacht Refinishing is committed to looking after the environment and complying with new legislation regarding antifoul waste. Topside and antifoul paints and varnish including used brushes, rollers and trays are classified as hazardous waste.

These are regulated and disposed of carefully and in accordance with regulations laid down, thus ensuring the waste is managed without endangering human health and without harming the environment.

Coppercoat is increasing in popularity with owners wanting to help protect the environment and Pedros is an approved Coppercoat application centre. Coppercoat is epoxy based and classified as non-eroding, causing less harm to the environment.
