Pedros Yacht Refinishing provides full repair, maintenance or conversion to any fibreglass boat. Undercover facilities are available for boats up to 60ft, alternatively, there are outside facilities where work can be carried out on craft up to 72ft.

Whether it’s a small chip in the gel coat or a much larger repair involving insurance companies, Pedros Yacht Refinishing can undertake the work. Boats which have been involved in an accident, run aground on rocks, sunk, caught fire or suffered storm damage have all been repaired by our skilled team over the years which is fully equipped to carry out any repairs needed. These include repairs to composite hulls, including carbon and Kevlar constructions.

Maintenance

Well maintained boats hold their value and at Pedros Yacht Refinishing we will do everything possible to make your boat look as good as new. And once we’ve carried out work, ongoing maintenance will be reduced.

Services provided by Pedros vary from painting of the hull to a complete overhaul.
Our practised team can remove staining and scuffing and provide a high quality finish and protection to any surface. Coloured gel coats, especially red or blue are prone to discolouration and dullness caused by general wear and tear, sunlight and salt spray. These can be reduced and revitalised by compounding and polishing or if the surface finish is very poor, it can be re-gelled or painted.
